‘Nothing is as strong as gentleness, and nothing is so gentle as real strength.’
Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient eastern body, mind, spirit discipline and self-defense system based on the principle of internal power and structured by Taoist, Confucist and Zen thought.
Chi Kung is Tai Chi Chuan’s predecessor and complementary practice. Chi Kung can be literally translated as ‘energy work’. Through dynamic technique, sensory perception, breath, mudras and meditation Chi Kung cleanses and balances our subtle energy chakric and meridian system, and cultivates and directs that vital energy in the body.
Both arts are a restorative for mind and spirit and support the health of all the body’s physical systems.
