Every Sunday 2:00-3:00 PM
Sonia offers deep yoga practice which includes asana (yoga postures), pranayama (yoga breathing exercises), and mantra (chanting). Ashtanga yoga helps bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices.
This class is gentle and restorative, and open to all levels.
Yoga mat is available for use.

About Instructor: Sonia Mclnemey
Sonia is a 29 year old Toronto born who has been practicing yoga for 10 years. In May 2016 she traveled to India and earned her Mysore Ashtanga teaching certificate. India captivated her so deeply that she stayed for another two months travelling to the northern region in an old 80’s van.
In September 2016, Sonia headed back to incredible India to explore more of her favourite place.
Sonia is now living and working in Toronto. During the week she substitutes teachers at the elementary school, and on the weekends she runs a vintage clothing business with her sister and teaches yoga classes across the city.
Sonia loves to travel, she has lived in three different continents, and she brings moving meditation with her whereever she goes. Through her yoga classes Sonia hopes to inspire others to find peace and balance in our everyday lives.
Although Toronto is her home she one day soon head back to her favourite part of of the world the Himalayas.
